NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Commissioners of Jefferson County and the Board of Supervisors of
Snyder Township, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, will hold a
hearing at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2011, in the large
courtroom of the Jefferson County Courthouse, Main Street,
Brookville, Pennsylvania, pursuant to the provisions of Act 95 of
2010,
based on notice given to the Jefferson
County Commissioners and the Snyder Township Supervisors that a
person previously convicted of a charge of murder is now residing
at the Just For Jesus Challenge Outreach Ministry group-based home
facility located a 14530 Rt. 28, Brockway, Pennsylvania. The
purpose of the hearing is for the operator of the group home to
provide information on its site and operations, and to provide the
opportunity for public questions and comments. The hearing is
informational in nature and no action can be taken by either
governing body at the conclusion of the hearing.
The Commissioners and Supervisors
reserve the right to limit the time allotted to each party
speaking depending on the number of parties intending to offer
questions or comments. Any and all interested parties may appear
