The
Jefferson County Planning Commission serves in an advisory
capacity on various issues that guide the overall development of
Jefferson County. The
membership of the Commission is diverse and represents different
areas of the county. The
tasks of the Planning Commission, both mandatory and optional,
are set forth in the Pennsylvania Municipal Planning Code, Act
247, as amended and reenacted.
