DROP OFF RECYCLING PROGRAM

The Solid Waste Authority operates a countywide drop off recycling program that provides residential recycling to areas that do not have access to curbside recycling.  There are 18 sites located throughout the county that are easy and convenient to use and are open 7 days per week, 24 hours a day.

You can help area farmers by putting your non-glossy newspapers in any of the 12 newspaper recycling sheds in the County.  Farmers shred the newspapers and use it for animal bedding.

See below for a list of the drop off locations and the recyclables accepted or click here recycle guide to view the recycling guide.

Please note, by putting any materials in the containers other than those listed below under ITEMS ACCEPTED you will contaminate the entire load resulting in the materials ending up in the landfill.  So please recycle properly and don’t forget to buy products made from recycled items.
