DROP OFF RECYCLING PROGRAM – The program has been updated with new containers. Please be sure to read the labels on the containers for the items accepted.
PAPER ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:
Boxes: Cereal, Cracker, Snack Food, Dry Food, Frozen Food, Refrigerated Food, Kleenex, Gift, Shoe, Popcorn, Pizza, Juice
Cartons: Pop, Beer, Juice, Milk, Creamer, Egg
Packaging Materials: Any kind of mail order packaging paper, Brown Kraft Paper, Tissue Paper
Other Papers: Tissue, Gift Wrap, Paper Towel & Toilet Paper Tubes
DO NOT BRING THESE ITEMS TO THE DROP OFF RECYCLING SITES
The Solid Waste Authority operates a countywide drop off recycling program that provides residential recycling to areas that do not have access to curbside recycling. There are 18 sites located throughout the county that are easy and convenient to use and are open 7 days per week, 24 hours a day.
You can help area farmers by putting your newspapers in any of the 12 newspaper recycling sheds in the County. Farmers shred the newspapers and use it for animal bedding.

Please note, by putting any materials in the containers other than those listed below under ITEMS ACCEPTED you will contaminate the entire load resulting in the materials ending up in the landfill. So please recycle properly and don’t forget to buy products made from recycled items.
